I have tried PHPBB first and it was the worst setup because it is very vulnerable to spam. It fill all the forum with spam. I am using smf also (as this forum is also a smf forums). What other people think about it?

SMF is a good open source forum script.  MYBB can be an alternative. For a paid one, I like Vbulletin because of its secured features and good modules.

I think mybb is not a paid forum setup and we can get it in free. vBulletin is on the top and have many built-in SEO functionality. I have heard that search engines like smf as well. I shall prefer smf due to beneficial mods and custom themes.

May I know which forums are most SEO friendly? I have heard about some SEO friendly URL which came with these forum setups. I don't know a lot about them but someone suggest to have smf.  What are that SEo friendly links? Can someone explain these?
