How do you like the idea of placing image ads on your forum's avatar? I think this is a smart way to catch attention especially if you are an active poster in a high traffic forum.

It is a smart idea because it can be easily noticed by surfers. It is effective if you have earned quite a good number of forum posts in a high traffic forum.

It is a good Idea but there will be a little response because people like to click on things rather than reading and writing.

I suggest for this to work effectively, there must be a link of your site in your signature. Also, I would prefer an animated avatar.
