How do you make banner advertisement as an effective marketing tool? Of course you must have a good banner and must place such banner on strategic site pages. Anything more you can add up?

Your banner should be lightweight so that it is to load. There are still those who use dial up connection who opt to have fast loading web sites.

An animated banner is definitely better than a static one. While a gif based animation can already be attractive, a flash based animation is more attractive.

I think we should not make Flash banners. GIF banners are the best banners and these can be placed easily. There is not need to install flash engine.
